Review this Gym
This one of the few pay as you go gyms in the city center. Its a small gym but its packed full of weights, machines and treadmills. I work in D2 so this gym is ideal for a quick lunch time work out and they have group fitness classes. Also it has an indoor soccer court.

This is what I call a no frills gym. I dont mean this in a bad sense. While this gym might not be the biggest or have the most facilities but for those who want to get a quick workout in the city centre after work its probably one of the least busy. Theres nothing more frustating than having to queue for a threadmill or a bench press. Thats why this YMCA on Aungier St is good and relieable. Theres a good reliable free weights area and cardio machines plus theres classes and a good aerobics studio which can also be used for to play football as well as badminton and basketball. Have used this gym a few times myself as the pay as you go option is something that can be a life saver if your up against time and want a quick workout. One draw back though is that gym is not open on a Sunday so this is probably the reason Im not currently a full time member but I do use the gym during week every so often.

This is a pretty good gym at a very good price. No swimming pool but a good gym. Tends to be busy during the week but it is a city centre gym!!! So you will have that issue every where else in the city centre. You can also pay as you go which is very very handy. I have often played indoor football here. The hall is perfect for 4 a side. And from my experience itâs easy enough to book the hall on Saturday mornings (even on short notice). And what was really handy is that you could use the car park at the back . The little side street by DIT has a gate that you can use buzzer. The staff will buzz you in. Its a great gym, friendly staff with good clean facilities.
