Review this Gym
I rang up today to get a quote for a yearly membership for this gym and was speaking to a chap named ***********. He asked me to come down, take a tour and they would work out a price schedule for my personal needs. He said that the monthly direct debit is between E60/70 per month. I asked for the price for 1year to pay up front and when ************advised that the membership was E900 and the joining fee was E100, total E1000 for the year, I was shocked. I asked him was he aware that we are currently in a recession. ******** said that that was there prices. When I told him I would go elsewhere as it was too expensive, he very quickly reply "Youre not right for this gym" I was shocked to get this type of answer from someone who is working in a gym, who think it is acceptable to charge over what some people are living off per month for a gym membership! They may have amazing facilities and very helpful when you are a member, like CorkGirl experienced but with staff like that answering the phones, I doubt they regularly get new clients in so they must look after the ones they already have. Very bad first impression from them, left a very bitter after taste

Hiya, I was a member for almost 2 years and I loved it. Great bunch of people, very helpful and excellent facilities - really clean. Quite expensive, it was 70 a month for me - but it was beside work and I got the use out of it so was worth it. Never too busy, pool especially quiet and spotless. Go in and have a wander around - chat with them. I went in when I lost my job and they stopped my membership immediately, no penalty and no hassle. Were really nice about it and I was sorry to leave!!!
